Election Central

The 2020 TSRC Election is open and will remain open until October 6, 2020 at midnight. Only active members of the AARC, in good standing 60 days prior to the annual business meeting, are eligible to vote. The annual business meeting is scheduled for October 10.

The following positions are open in this election. A biography for each candidate can be accessed below.

Secretary

Biography – Marby McKinney

Biography – Tammy Kurszewski

Keep a book of minutes of all meetings of the Society and of the Board of Directors, with the date, time, and place held. Give notice of all regular or special meetings, all meetings of the Board of Directors, and the Annual Meeting. Handle the various correspondence that may be required for the transaction of the business of the Society. Term – two years, beginning January 1, 2021.

Delegate

Biography – Kristina Ramirez

The Delegate will represent the Society at the bi-annual AARC House of Delegates. The Delegate will serve as a member of the Board of Directors of the Society and serve on the Executive Committee of the Texas Society for Respiratory Care. The Delegate shall succeed to the position of Senior Delegate at the end of the term. Term – two years as Delegate, beginning January 1, 2021.

South Region Director

Biography – Megan Carreon

The South Region Director is the President of the region and shall represent and expand the membership of the region, work with South Region officers and district representatives to develop educational activities consistent with the by-laws of the Society, submit a written report on the activities within the region to the President of the Society, submit quarterly Regional activity and financial reports to the Society’s Board of Directors, and attend the Society Board of Directors meetings. Term – two years, beginning January 1, 2021.

West Region Director

Biography – Pablo Quijas

The West Region Director is the President of the region and shall represent and expand the membership of the region, work with West Region officers and district representatives to develop educational activities consistent with the by-laws of the Society, submit a written report on the activities within the region to the President of the Society, submit quarterly Regional activity and financial reports to the Society’s Board of Directors, and attend the Society Board of Directors meetings. Term – two years, beginning January 1, 2021.
