2021 Call For TSRC BOD Nominations

The TSRC is now accepting nominations for President-Elect, Vice President, Treasurer, Central Region Director, and North Region Director. Below is a brief description of each position.

President-Elect: The President-Elect will chair or serve as division chair for several committees. President-Elect shall perform such other duties as assigned by the President and/or the Board of Directors. The President-Elect will assume the office of President following the end of the term. Term – one year, beginning January 1, 2022.

Vice President: The Vice-President will act on behalf of the president in his/her absence, if there is no president-elect. The Vice-President will communicate and assist regions The Vice-President is the division chair of several committees. The Vice-President shall assume the duties, but not the office, of the President-Elect in the event of the absence, resignation or disability of the President-Elect. Term – two years, beginning January 1, 2022.

Treasurer: The Treasurer shall keep and maintain, according to commonly accepted accounting practice, complete and accurate accounts of all fiscal transactions of the Society. Assist in the preparation of the annual budget for the coming fiscal year and authorize all disbursements assuring compliance to the signature policy required by the Board of Directors. Term – two years, beginning January 1, 2022.

Central Region Director: The Central Region Director is the President of the region and shall represent and expand the membership of the region, work with Central Region officers and district representatives to develop educational activities consistent with the by-laws of the Society, submit a written report on the activities within the region to the President of the Society, submit quarterly Regional activity and financial reports to the Society’s Board of Directors, and attend the Society Board of Directors meetings. Term – two years, beginning January 1, 2022.

North Region Director: The North Region Director is the President of the region and shall represent and expand the membership of the region, work with North Region officers and district representatives to develop educational activities consistent with the by-laws of the Society, submit a written report on the activities within the region to the President of the Society, submit quarterly Regional activity and financial reports to the Society’s Board of Directors, and attend the Society Board of Directors meetings. Term – two years, beginning January 1, 2022.
