The Respiratory Care Foundation of Texas was created in April, 1998 as a 501(c)(3) corporation with the following mission:

To promote educational scholarships and a high level of wellness for patients with respiratory disease in the state of Texas.

The purpose of the Foundation is:

To receive and maintain funds and use those funds to promote educational scholarships and the health and well being of patients with respiratory disease in Texas.  To that end, the Foundation will use its funds to finance educational scholarships, purchase medical equipment and supplies needed in a community, establish or maintain charitable, benevolent and medical research activities, agencies and institutions and utilize any other means, persons or agencies which will further the purposes of the Foundation.
