On February 24, 2017, the Texas Medical Board and Respiratory Care Board confirmed PICC Lines, Peripheral Line, and Venipuncture are included in the Respiratory Care Practitioner’s Scope of Practice in Texas. 

To provide needed education for members, the Texas Society for Respiratory Care (TSRC) will be offering the TSRC Peripheral Access Training Course on October 1, 2017

The program is being sponsored by the TSRC, Teleflex, and UT Southwestern Medical Center

Space  is limited to only 65 attendees, the first 65 individuals who meet the following criteria will have a seat reserved:

1.  All attendees must be TSRC Members (will be verified).  If you are not currently a member, please become a member prior to registering, to become a member click here.  NOTE:  After applying for membership, it will take a few days for approval of membership.  It is not immediate.

TIME: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Registration Begins at 7:00 AM)

COST: $150.00

The TSRC assumes no liability that arises from the event


The course will consist of lectures and rotation through five (5) stations of hands-on demonstrations.
